on the California Central Coast.
VISION:
SLOSEA's vision is a healthy, resilient coastal ecosystem that provides for
thriving and interacting populations of plant, animal and human communities.
SCOPE:
The SLOSEA study area includes the Morro Bay Estuary and the nearshore
coast and watersheds from Cape San Martin to Point Conception.

ORIGIN:
SLOSEA was established to link research at the Cal Poly
Center for Coastal Marine Sciences
to marine resource management and policy decisions along California's
central coast.
